Chiara's scary cake

It's Halloween and the little artist cat really wanted to bake a ghost cake. I had cooked apple compote in the morning and still had a ready-made sponge cake in the pantry.

This is how the idea for the scary cake came about, with which she needed little help and support.

Ingredients

Sweet mummy brain = apple compote
Red scales from the sea witch = cherry jam
Yellow heart of a primeval dragon = small can of peaches
Cake made from Stone Age flour = ready-made sponge cake
Magic dust = ½ sachet cream stiffener
Ghost Slime from Enchanted Chicken Bird Eggs = Two egg whites
Sand from Monster Island = 170g cane sugar
Vampire blood = red sugar writing
Witch pencils = sugar writing
Magic slime = clear cake glaze
Secret potion from the well of darkness = water

Sprinkle the cake made of Stone Age flour with the magic dust so that it doesn't get soggy so quickly. Spread the cute mummy brain on top. Cut the yellow heart of the primeval dragon into thin slices and place on the brain.

Now add a few scales from the old sea witch as decorate.

My grandmother then cooked the magic slime according to the package insert with the secret potion from the well of darkness. Then I spread it carefully with a spoon on the cake base.
Now it had to cool down and in that time we made the scary faces.

First, put the ghost slime in a tall bowl. You get it by breaking two eggs of an enchanted chicken bird. Very carefully you separate the ghost slime from the yellow yolk. With the mixer you beat the egg white until it is firm.
Then gradually add the sand from the monster island. Continue beating the egg whites. Than the mass goes into a piping bag. I placed a silicone mat on the baking sheet and piped round circles onto it. Now they have to bake in a preheated oven at 100 degrees for 1 ½ hours.
After it cooled down I drew scary faces on it with my witch pencils. Finally, decorate the edge with some vampire blood and distribute the heads on it.

My scary cake for Halloween is ready!
I wish you a lot of fun creating your own scary cake.

Chiara
