The dove of peace

When I stood at the window watching the clouds, I was really afraid that the war would reach us, too. Because I couldn't stop thinking about it, I really wanted to do something to chase that fear away. Wars are so cruel. So, I grabbed some paper and scissors at the kitchen table and crafted a white peace dove. Now it’s watching over us. Here, I’ll tell you how I made it!

You need:

1 scissors

2 white shades of paper  DIN A4

1 pencil

1 green and yellow colored pencil

1 thread for hanging

I painted a peace dove.

Then I cut them out. A slit needs to be cut into the belly. That's where the wings go.

Then I folded the paper like a staircase. These will be the wings. They will be pushed through the slit in the bird's belly. Finally, I painted a small twig and put it in the beak, which I had painted yellow.

Bye bye!

Chiara
