Farther than the horizon

The horizon, the natural border where heaven and earth seem to touch. No matter how hard I try, the view beyond the firmament remains hidden from me. Only when I approach her does she gradually reveal what was previously hidden. Sometimes I need courage and strength to go further because it makes me sad, angry or even scared. But unless I go further, I shall never know what wonderful knowledge lies beyond the horizon.

Our journey on earth does not only have sunny days in store for us. We often have to face the storms of life. Sometimes these challenges are like a raging sea. Huge waves pile up and want to pull us down into the darkness.
But a ship's crew doesn't give up and so me too allways take the helm again and steer my life ship through the ups and downs of my existence.

But for that I need "filling stations" that give me the necessary strength and vital energy. A hug, a few words of encouragement, a song, a memento and your own space to unwind. Moments that are the same when the sailor lets his gaze wander over the calm sea. When the stillness of the sea surrounds him and expands in his heart and soul. The morning sun slowly rises in the firmament and the light of its warm rays is reflected in the endless water.

This journey takes me into the world of emotions and empathy. Topics that "one" doesn't like to talk about, are taboo or that I prefer to deal with on my own. I'm always happy when I meet people who say: "Yes, I know that!", "It's the same for me!" and "I've experienced that too!"
Now I'm curious myself how far I can go over my Horizon.
